Kris Townsent embarked on his musical journey in the early 90s, drawing inspiration from the popular sounds of the dance and trance scene of that era. While other interests occasionally took precedence, music remained a constant passion. In 2015, Kris refocused entirely on music.
In 2019, Kris set out to create an EP, a project that is still a work in progress. However, this endeavor led to the evolution of Kris’s unique style, a fusion of orchestral, soundtrack, ambient elements, and everything in between. Kris’s musical palette is incredibly diverse, influenced by artists from various genres, as well as the rock and pop songs of the 80s, and heavy metal bands. Composers have also left their mark on his music, adding an orchestral and soundtrack-heavy dimension to his sound.
Kris Townsent’s « Season Series » stands as a stellar example of how he skillfully blends different genres together. While he has transitioned to a somewhat calmer style compared to his earlier trance-heavy tracks, Kris still holds a trove of older gems in his repertoire, which may someday find their way into dance clubs.
